
Belgian Challenger Pro League side Royal Francs Borains have completed the loan signing of Ghanaian forward Raymond Asante for the 2026/27 season, the club has announced.The 22-year-old joins the Belgian second-tier outfit on a season-long loan as he seeks regular playing time for the upcoming campaign.Asante joins Royal Francs Borains from parent club Sporting Charleroi, following the completion of his previous loan spell with Patro Eisden Maasmechelen last season.The former Udinese youth player made 11 appearances for Patro Eisden after joining on loan in the second half of the campaign, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He helped his side reach the playoffs for a spot in the Jupiler Pro League, but they narrowly missed out after losing to Beerschot on aggregate.The forward is expected to join his new teammates immediately as Royal Francs Borains continue their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.Asante will be looking to make a significant impact in the Challenger Pro League and help his new club push for promotion to Belgium’s top flight.
