The man at the centre of the trending video on social media identified as Seidu and from Kumasi has finally spoken about his video.
A video from the inauguration of John Mahama saw Seidu lifting the police barricade at the Blackstars Square while some police personnel at the venue were trying to calm him down.
Speaking about the viral video, Seidu disclosed that he was tasked to give out four complimentary cards to some people but he was able to hand out two out of the four cards.
While returning to the event grounds, he met two elderly women standing by the barricade because the community police had allegedly prevented them from going to the event grounds to watch the event.
He engaged the elderly women in a conversation and they told him they were coming from Sampa or somewhere and they came because they voted for John Mahama and wanted to see the swearing-in.
They later told him that one policeman there had allowed them to enter but the community police said he wasn’t going to allow them.
So when one of his guys wanted to find out from the community police why he would prevent the elderly women when a policeman who is his senior had given them access the community police threatened to slap his boy.
He continued that the policeman who had earlier given the ladies access came back to ask the community police to allow the ladies but he still insisted that they were not going to enter so he questioned him on why he was disrespecting his senior to which the community Police once again said he was going to slap them.
This he said got him angry making him lift the barricade and ask the people to enter.
