Award-winning female vocalist “Abiana,” also known as Eldah Dickson, is about to release her much-anticipated Extended Play (EP), “Taste of Africa,” and delight music-loving listeners.
On Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Alliance Francaise, close to Airport City, the “Taste of Africa” EP will formally be introduced with a spectacular concert.
Amadzeba, Nat Brew, Kwabena Kwabena, Fameye, Epixode, Okyeame Kwame, Worlasi, Floewe, and many more top performers in the industry will put on a stunning performance during the evening of great music and diverse talent showcase. There will also be a tonne of incredible surprises.
She claims that she will perform a concert that will take audiences to the heart of Africa with its delicious fusion of African sounds, lively rhythms, and deep vocals.
The “Taste of Africa” EP is a means of showcasing Abiana’s great talent as a singer and songwriter, fusing traditional African inspirations with contemporary elements to produce a truly exceptional sound. Speaking about what the public can expect from the upcoming EP, Abiana says, “I am sure and I believe that I have a unique musical experience that encompasses the diversity and richness of Ghanaian cultures to bring out nothing but the best of me to my fans.”
She says her show would transport fans to the heart of Africa with its delectable blend of vibrant rhythms, deep vocals, and African sounds.
Abiana’s amazing skill as a vocalist and songwriter is showcased in the “Taste of Africa” EP, which blends modern elements with traditional African inspirations to create a truly remarkable sound. “I am sure and I believe that I have a unique musical experience that encompasses the diversity and richness of Ghanaian cultures to bring out nothing but the best of me to my fans,” Abiana says when asked about what fans can expect from the upcoming EP.
All of the major streaming services, such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer, will have the “Taste of Africa” EP available, letting listeners enjoy the distinctive sounds of Africa from all over the world.
In 2013, Abiana made her debut as the Afro Harmony Band’s backup vocalist. In 2014, she assumed the role of main vocalist for the Hsykul band. In 2020, she decided to go solo and signed with +233 Records.
Abiana made an appearance in the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards winning song “Bolgatanga Girl” by Okyeame Kwame, which took home the record of the year award.
She made her music debut with the release of “Adun lei,” in October 2020.
Via Adun Lei, Abiana was nominated twice for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in the categories of song writer and best female vocal performance in 2021.
She eventually triumphed against Adina, Yaa Yaa, Cina Soul, Efe Grace, and Enuonyam to win female vocalist of the year.
