The founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has come under public scrutiny following developments surrounding a marriage he recently facilitated for a young man with special needs.

A in her early 40s answered the call, leading to a wedding ceremony officiated by Apostle Chinyere.

As part of his support, the pastor gifted the bride 10 million naira, provided the couple with a house, and pledged to sponsor an overseas trip for them.

However, shortly after the wedding, controversy erupted when the bride reportedly made revelations that contradicted earlier claims made during the ceremony.

According to reports, the woman had initially presented herself as unmarried and without children. She has since confessed that she is a widow and a mother of three children.

She also disclosed that she was born and raised in Rivers State, with paternal roots in Edo State.

The new development has sparked intense debate across social media, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding the marriage and the disclosures made before the union.

While some have criticised the bride for withholding information, others have called for empathy, noting the complexity of personal histories and the sensitive nature of the arrangement.
