The Old Students Association of Accra High School (AHISCOSA) hosted a special reunion party on Saturday September 20 at the school’s cafeteria, bringing together alumni from various year groups.
The event, dubbed the “Come and Eat Kpokpoi” party, gave former students the chance to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their shared bond.

The highlight of the gathering was the sharing of kpokpoi, the traditional Ga dish, symbolising triumph over hunger and commemorating the Ga people’s historic victory over famine.

The celebration also coincided with the ongoing Homowo festival in some Ga communities, making the choice of dish even more significant.

Beyond the dining, the atmosphere was filled with joy as attendees danced, laughed, and rekindled old friendships after years apart.
The reunion underscored the strong spirit of camaraderie among Accra High School alumni and celebrated both cultural heritage and unity.
