Former Heart of Lions forward Kwadwo Obeng Jnr has emerged as a transfer target for Ghana Premier League sides Aduana FC and Nations FC ahead of the new season.

The striker is currently a free agent after leaving Heart of Lions following the expiration of his contract, making him one of the available attacking options on the transfer market.

In addition to interest from the two Ghanaian clubs, an unnamed club in Ethiopia is also monitoring the forward’s situation as it considers a move for his signature.

Obeng Jnr is expected to weigh his options before deciding on the next step in his career, with both domestic and international opportunities on the table.

His experience in the Ghana Premier League and availability on a free transfer have made him an attractive prospect for clubs looking to strengthen their attacking departments before the start of the 2026/27 campaign.
