Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has now assumed the position of a lecturer schooling Ernest Thompson on how to handle supporters of the club.
This comes as a major surprise to most fans who follow the affairs of the capital club as the controversial board member of the Phobians had recently gone hard on supporters.
Dr. Tamakloe, who is credited for rejuvenating the Rainbow Club during the late 1980s and early 1990 and earning the tag Musical Youth, went ballistic and stated that fans who are tired of supporting the club can quit.
Meanwhile, former board secretary of the club Ernest Thompson has been reacting to recent happenings inside the club and lauded the supporters’ effort to compel management and the board to do the right things.
However, Dr. Tamakloe feels Thompson is just firing bullets at the hierarchy of the club and schooled him on how to handle supporters.
“If you read the statement he made carefully, he was trying to direct his statement to the management and the board and based on that I have come out to respond to him because he knows the problems the club has been going through. I don’t find it necessary for him to disturb the club at this stage. I have always respected the role of supporters because it was through supporters that I got involved in the running of the club some years ago. When you handle supporters you must know how to handle them. That is why I cautioned coach Matic,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.
