Doubts about the completion and operationalization of the government’s flagship project, Agenda 111 hospitals seem answered by the President’s health right-hand man.
Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare who was speaking to NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’ assured Ghanaians that the project despite challenges will be opened to the public across the country next year.
He, however, did not give a specific date but was optimistic most would be commissioned.
“We’ll be doing most commissioning from the Northern sector and gradually open all to the public across the country,” he assured.
The Agenda 111 initiative is providing 101 standard 100-bed district hospitals with accommodation for doctors and nurses in districts without district hospitals and six new regional hospitals for each of the six new regions.
