Supporters of His Excellency Dr Bawumia Presidential bid based in the UK (UK for Bawumia) have intervened to provide a suitable water facility (borehole) for Banso D/A basic school in the Ahanta West District of Western Region.
This timely intervention came about as a result of a publication by Joy news presenter (Kojo Brace) on his Facebook wall then sighted by the UK FOR DMB group.
Under the leadership of Mr Okyere Darko, the group immediately made a commitment to ensure the program begins and assured the committee set by the Joy reporter(Kojo Brace) involving the Chief, Head Teacher, a teacher and other members that the remaining amount payment shall be made to ensure completion of the project.
The group according to the spokesman Mr. Bismark Asante was thankful to the Bawumia supporters in UK who made financial donations towards the project in the name of His Excellency the Vice President Dr Bawumia.
Mr Asante emphasised the need for all especially those in the diaspora to support however little they can as we all have stakes in making our country better. He stressed that governance is a collective responsibility of all and sundry and that, there is no point folding our arms and expect government to solve all our problems. Mr Asante admonishes others with the means to help government solve generational problems in our communities.
