Annor Walker has rejoined Great Olympics as their head coach after leaving the club last season to join Samartex on a two-year deal.
Walker and Samartex mutually agreed to terminate his contract after just one season in which the club placed 10th.
The former Black Galaxies coach was linked to Great Olympics’ city rivals, Hearts of Oak, with reports suggesting that talks had taken place and Walker had agreed to join the Phobians. However, Great Olympics wasted no time in making their move to convince Walker to return to their fold.

Walker’s departure from Great Olympics had a significant impact on the club, as they narrowly escaped relegation last season after finishing in fifth place prior to his departure. His return is seen as a boost for the team as they look to improve their performance in the upcoming season.
Walker’s experience and knowledge of the club will be valuable assets as Great Olympics aim to build a competitive squad and strive for success next season.
Both the club and Walker are excited bout the reunion, with Great Olympics hoping that his return will bring stability and positive results for the team.
