Flagbearer of the All-People’s Congress, APC, Hassan Ayariga, has announced plans to ban the operations of forex bureaus in Ghana when elected President.
This, he says, will help the cedi gain value against the US dollar.
He was speaking to the media after his 2024 election campaign launch in Bawku in the Upper East Region.
Dr. Ayariga has promised to tackle corruption, insecurity and the economy, when elected president in the December 2024 elections.
He arrived in the Bawku Municipality with a rousing welcome from the people. Many groups including candoo drivers, private business owners and the youth were motivated and joined the campaign trail of the APC candidate.
