Nigerian singer Ahmed Oloade, better known as Asake, made history on Sunday night as the first Nigerian newbie to sell out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.

The sold-out concert was a major milestone for Asake, who has been steadily gaining popularity in Nigeria and around the world in recent years.

His music is a blend of Afrobeats and hip-hop, and his songs have been streamed millions of times on streaming platforms.

Asake’s grand entrance at the O2 Arena was a memorable moment for fans. He arrived on stage via a helicopter that landed in the middle of the arena. He then treated the audience to a mix of tracks from his debut album, “Mr Money With The Vibe,” and his second project, “Work Of Art.”

The concert also featured special guest appearances by Asake’s fellow YBNL label mate Fireboy DML, as well as Lil Kesh and other talented artists. The lineup of performers also included notable names like Olamide, Fireboy, and Tiwa Savage.

However, due to the O2 Arena’s curfew regulations, the show had to conclude earlier than planned.

Despite the early ending, the concert was a huge success for Asake.

This is a major achievement for Asake, who is still relatively new to the music scene. He has now joined the ranks of Nigerian music stars such as Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy who have successfully sold out the prestigious O2 Arena.
