Asante Kotoko part ways with Ibrahim Danlad

After their unimpressive run in the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have parted ways with 11 players including goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim and Cameroonian George Mfugue.

The Kumasi-based team finished the league with 49 points at the 6th position. Kotoko for the first time in the club’s history lost 13 matches.

In a tweet on their official X page, the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League champions announced the end of their contract with 11 players.

The club expressed its gratitude to the players and wished them well in their future endeavors.
