He joined Almeria from Real Mallorca in 2023 and became a key figure in the team.Despite injury troubles, Baba was a fan favourite, starring for Almeria during their time in La Liga and the Segunda league.”After three unforgettable years, the time has come to say goodbye,” he posted on social media. “It has been a privilege. I want to express my sincerest gratitude to my teammates, the technical staff, the management, and everyone who works at the club. Above all, thank you to the fans for your passion and unwavering support. You made me feel part of this great family. Thank you for your support on and off the field during difficult times. Your affection and encouragement will always stay with me. “A new chapter in my career begins. I leave with a deep sense of gratitude and respect for this club and for everyone who is part of it. UD Almera will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for everything. I wish you all the best.”Iddrisu made 58 league appearances for the club. He is expected to join Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade.
