With the start of the championship less than a week away, the La Liga club has decided it can no longer wait for the winger’s response.
The club had initially set last weekend as the deadline for a decision. However, sources close to the negotiations revealed that there had been no response from the player’s camp.
This lack of indecision has led Barcelona to throw in the towel and look for other alternatives, with Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman reportedly under consideration.
