Berekum Chelsea officer Fredua Christopher has proposed that future Ghana Football Association (GFA) Congresses be held via Zoom if clubs are not permitted to speak.
This comes after the 30th Ordinary Congress, held on August 26, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, reportedly did not allow clubs to ask questions.
The 30th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) commenced on August 26, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram.
The event marked a significant gathering of football stakeholders across the nation. President of the GFA Kurt Okraku cut the sod for the construction of a new gym, Futsal arena, and swimming pool at the Soccer Center of Excellence and other new projects.
“This current administration when they first came any Congress that we will go they write to us that any club that has a problem send through email as other matters. You know Ghana football the clubs for the fear of intimidation and witch-hunting they are not doing it,” he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
“Unlike Kwesi Nyantakyi’s time at Congress he will tell you to raise up your hand any anything that you have you can say it. There you will see well-known football people like Ntow Fianko coming to express their views now if you go to Congress like we went this time other matters they didn’t let anybody ask a question.
“Why do you want people to risk their life from Bolga and Wa to come and not be able to say anything then let us stay home and do Zoom,”
