The Black Galaxies continued their preparations with an emphasis 3-0 victory over Ghana Premier League side Heart of Lions in an entertaining friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium.

It was a competitive and lively contest, with the “Giant Killers” pushing the home-based national side throughout the game.

Both teams battled hard in the first half but failed to find the breakthrough, heading into the break goalless after a tightly contested opening period.

The Black Galaxies stepped up after the restart and eventually took control of proceedings. Ali Mohammed opened the scoring from the penalty spot, calmly converting to give his side the lead.

In-form Port City forward Kedzie Korblah Junior then sealed the win with a fantastic brace, capping off a strong performance from Coach Kassim Mingle’s side.

The Black Galaxies have been in camp for nearly a week as they continue preparations for upcoming assignments, with the technical team using the match to assess players and build cohesion within the squad.

New Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz was in attendance, watching closely alongside assistants Desmond Ofei and Roger De Sa as they monitor potential talents from the local scene.
