Ghana’s Black Queens booked a slot in the next round of qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games after a resounding 7-0 aggregate victory over Guinea.
After a 3-0 win over the Guineans in the first leg in Conakry last Friday, Coach Nora Hauptle’s side recorded another emphatic 4-0 win on Tuesday in the return leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Striker Evelyn Badu again scored two goals against the Guineans after grabbing a brace in Conakry.
Priscilla Adubea and Firdous Yakubu scored the other two goals to complete the 7-0 aggregate scoreline.
Ghana have advanced to the next stage of the qualifiers. Since Coach Nora Hauptle took charge of the Black Queens, they have won all their five matches, scoring 14 goals, and have not yet conceded.
