Ghana’s national Under-20 male team, the Black Satellites, have returned home after concluding a rigorous and productive three-week training tour of Europe.

The players and officials arrived in Ghana on Friday, July 19, 2024, to a warm welcome from supporters and well-wishers.

During their European tour, the Black Satellites engaged in several friendly matches against top youth teams, allowing the players to gain valuable international experience and exposure. The training sessions, overseen by experienced coaching staff, focused on developing the players’ skills, tactics, and teamwork in preparation for upcoming international competitions.

Head Coach Desmond Offei and his 22-man squad embarked on trips to France, Belgium, and Holland three weeks ago in preparation for the 2024 WAFU B U20 tournament.

The Black Satellites featured in a series of training matches geared towards trimming the rough edges of the team ahead of the sub-regional youth Championship.

The Ghanaian team has returned home to continue preparations ahead of the 2024 WAFU B U20 tournament.

The Black Satellites have regrouped since their Gold winning feat at the All Africa Games.
