Black Sherif grabs nomination for the 55th NAACP Awards

Ghanaian sensation Black Sherif has received a nomination in the “Best Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration” category at the 55th NAACP Awards, set to take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Black Sherif shares this nomination with his collaborators, Dreamville’s American rapper Bas and Nigerian producer/singer Kel-P. The trio earned the recognition for their soundtrack contribution to the highly acclaimed film Creed III, a 2023 American sports drama produced and directed by Michael B. Jordan, who portrayed the lead character Adonis Creed in the movie.

The winners of the 55th NAACP Awards will be unveiled during a two-hour live TV special airing on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 8:00 PM ET/PT on BET and CBS. To participate in the voting process and help determine the winners in select categories, the public can visit www.naacpimageawards.net. The voting period concludes on February 24 at 9:00 p.m. The awards ceremony will showcase the winners during its telecast on March 16, 2024, on BET and CBS.

Additionally, NAACP will acknowledge winners in non-televised Image Awards categories from March 11-14th, with the events streaming via naacpimageawards.net.
