The technical team of Ghanas national U-17 team, the Black Starlets, is set to continue its nationwide player scouting exercise with visits to the Eastern and Volta Regions next week.The team, led by head coach Frimpong Manso, will assess young footballers in Koforidua on Tuesday, April 8, and in Ho on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.The screening targets talented players born on or after January 1, 2009, who may be selected for future inclusion in the Black Starlets setup.This initiative is part of a broader effort to discover and develop promising youth talent across the country. The ongoing exercise in the southern sector has already covered the Ashanti, Western, and Western North Regions.The screening programme is expected to conclude in the Greater Accra Region, with sessions scheduled from April 21 to April 24, 2025.The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the technical team aim to build a strong and competitive squad by identifying gifted players at the grassroots level.This approach aligns with the GFAs long-term vision of strengthening youth development and ensuring a solid foundation for the future of Ghana football.The upcoming sessions in Koforidua and Ho are expected to attract hundreds of young hopefuls eager to showcase their skills.
