Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has challenged his players to embrace the opportunity to make history for Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Addressing the squad during a team session, Queiroz revealed that a mini-quiz organized for the players was designed to remind them of the significance of the task ahead.
“We’re here to make history for Ghana. When you sleep tonight, think about it,” the coach told the team as preparations intensify for the tournament.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to kick off on Thursday, June 11, in Mexico City, with nations from across the globe competing for football’s biggest prize.
Ghana will begin their campaign on June 17 when they face Panama in their opening group-stage match, with hopes high that the Black Stars can make a memorable impact on the world stage.
