Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has denied reports in town that he has appointed former manager of Stonebwoy, Blakk Cedi, as his new manager.
When news emerged that Blakk Cedi was in Jamaica as part of Shatta Wale’s team for Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Concert while his manager Sammy Flex was in Ghana, rumours went rife that the musician had changed his manager.
This was after Blakk Cedi shared an appreciation post on social media.
Well, Shatta Wale has finally touched down in Ghana after his performance in Jamaica with Vybz Kartel and has addressed the rumours.
According to him, the inclusion of Blakk Cedi to his team was just to offer support and not act as his manager as some people reported.
He stated that Sammy Flex still remains his manager and nothing is going to change about that.
“Blakk Cedi’s contribution is just like JoyNews coming here to interview me—strictly supportive.
I don’t have any problem with anybody, and I appreciate anyone who wants to support me,” Shatta Wale explained.
“Blakk Cedi formerly managed Stonebwoy, but that’s in the past. He’s done well, and I give him a big shout-out. But nobody should tag Blakk Cedi as managing Shatta Wale. Sammy Flex is still my manager,” he added.
