Boston Wilson, a student in the Big Sandy Independent School District in East Texas has been tragically killed in a car accident.
Wilson died after a fatal car crash on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, on Highway 19 in Lovelady.
Houston County Justice of Peace Mike McCreight confirmed the identity of the victim of that fatality as 16-year-old Boston Wilson of the Big Sandy area. He was pronounced deceased at 3:40 pm on November 16, 2024.
No other details on the crash or other fatalities or injuries was released.
“The district extends its deepest condolences to his family and to our many students who were friends with him and loved him,” Big Sandy ISD said in a statement Sunday. “Big Sandy also offers its condolences to our neighbors in Hawkins ISD and its students and families as they share this loss with us.”
Wilson was a basketball player for Big Sandy. A GoFundMe has been started to raise money to help his family.
