Brazilian winger Willian has rejoined Fulham, signing a fresh one-year contract with the London club.

The 34-year-old’s previous deal had expired earlier in the summer, and it seemed likely that he would be joining Nottingham Forest. However, he has opted to rejoin Fulham with the option to extend his contract for an additional 12 months.

Expressing his delight, Willian said, “I’m completely happy. Happy to continue the work I did last season with all my teammates and the whole club. I think it’s a club that can do even better this season, so I’m happy to continue this amazing adventure.”

Willian played a significant role in helping Fulham secure a 10th-place finish in the Premier League last season. The experienced forward is eager to build on that success and contribute further to the team’s progress.

Having initially joined Fulham on a free transfer from Corinthians in August 2022, Willian made 27 appearances in the Premier League last season. He showcased his versatility by netting five goals and providing six assists, making a valuable impact on the pitch.
