Accra, Ghana — Busy Body and Creative Color Cell recently hosted a collaborative event at Untamed Empire that brought together fashion, design, and community through a series of activities centered on tie-dye, screen printing, garment customization, and independent retail.

Inspired by the FIFA World Cup, the event explored the relationship between football culture, fashion, and creative practice. Attendees participated in hands-on customization sessions while also engaging with a pop-up marketplace featuring merchandise, apparel, and products from participating brands and creatives.

The gathering featured contributions from partner brands Camouflart, Julz Wear, Eternal Feels, and Kaxoxowo, creating a platform for independent brands to showcase and sell their work directly to the public. Alongside the retail experience, visitors had the opportunity to observe and participate in textile transformation processes, including tie-dye and screen printing.

A key aspect of the event was the reworking of existing garments through color and print, allowing participants to experiment with creative techniques while extending the life of clothing they already owned.

Curated by Nene Osom of Busy Body, the event brought together independent creatives, brands, and members of the public in a shared space for exchange, participation, and cultural engagement.

The Busy Body x Creative Color Cell collaboration combined elements of fashion, craft, commerce, and community, demonstrating how creative partnerships can create opportunities for both artistic expression and public participation.
