Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has named his starting eleven for the huge clash against Cte d’Ivoire in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tonight.With the likes of key players Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, and Jordan Ayew unavailable due to injuries, the veteran trainer has turned to other players to get the job done.In his starting eleven, Queiroz has trusted Lawrence Ati-Zigi to man the post for the Black Stars, joined by a defensive line of Alexander Djiku, Kojo Oppong Peprah, Gideon Mensah and Jerome Opoku.With midfield controller Thomas Partey out, Kwasi Sibo gets the nod to anchor the Ghana midfield, joined by Caleb Yirenkyi.A new-look Black Stars attack deployed by the Ghana coach has Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Ernest Nuamah operating from the flanks, while Brandon Thomas Asante leads the attack.The Black Stars have been in camp since Monday, with preparations starting in Accra before the trip to Cte d’Ivoire.The Group C opener against the Elephants is scheduled to kick off at 7 pm at Stade de la Paix in Bouake.
