The Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Alliance Ghana (CEHA) on Friday, 19th June, 2026, donated a range of energy-efficient household appliances to the Energy Commission of Ghana in Accra.
The donation, which was led by CEHA Ghana Executive Secretary, Jerry Halm, underscores the Alliance’s commitment to supporting national efforts toward sustainable energy use and efficiency.
Items presented to the Commission included water dispensers, 3-in-1 standing fans, coffee machines, mixers, kettles, tabletop fridges, microwave ovens and grills, blenders, toasters, and 32-inch television sets.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Commission was Deputy Executive Secretary Chris Nanabanyin Yalley, who expressed appreciation for CEHA Ghana’s continued partnership and support.
Mr Halm commended the Energy Commission for its dedication to promoting energy efficiency across the country, and reaffirmed the Alliance’s resolve to back initiatives that advance sustainable energy practices.
He noted that the donation was a demonstration of the private sector’s readiness to actively participate in national energy conversations and campaigns.
The appliances are to be deployed as prizes during public sensitisation programmes, stakeholder engagements, and media outreach activities forming part of the Commission’s ongoing nationwide awareness campaign on the new energy-efficiency regulations.
