Deputy Regional General Manager of QNET Sub-Saharan Africa, Cherif Bassirou Abdoulaye Sarr, says the Man City-QNET football clinic is aimed at inspiring young players to believe in their abilities and pursue their dreams through football.
Speaking on the initiative, Sarr emphasized the importance of youth empowerment and personal development, stressing that the programme goes beyond football training.
“We want to empower these young kids and make them believe they can achieve their dreams,” he stated during the clinic activities.
The football clinic, organized in partnership with English Premier League giants Manchester City, provides young footballers with the opportunity to learn modern training techniques, discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills under qualified coaches.
The initiative forms part of QNET’s broader commitment to youth development and community engagement across Africa.
Participants are expected to benefit from mentorship and football education designed to nurture talent and encourage young athletes to pursue professional opportunities both on and off the pitch.
