China Mall And Several Parts Of Accra Flooded After Heavy Downpour

There have been several reports of places in Accra getting flooded after a heavy downpour. Today September 22.

According to multiple reports, the downpour has resulted in flooding on the Accra-Tema Motorway road leading to TT Brothers.

Other videos depict flooding in areas such as the Adenta SDA, China Mall( Ashaiman Branch), and many more areas.

It started to rain heavily between 14:00pm on Friday, September 22. As at 17:00, the heavy rain reduced and it started drizzling but the thunder and lightning destroyed a lot of properties.

As the rainfall persists, some motorists have taken to social media to share the extent of the flooding caused by the downpour to give a heads-up to other drivers and pedestrians who are yet to venture out.

The Spintex Road has also been cited as one of the flooded areas.
