The management of Citi FM and Citi TV, led by Managing Director Samuel Attah-Mensah and General Manager Bernard Koku Avle, paid a visit to Kencity Media Limited (Oman FM) to offer condolences on the passing of Martin Kwabena Kwakye, the Director of the station.
In a brief statement, the Managing Director of Citi FM/Citi TV acknowledged the strong bond between both media houses, both professionally and personally, and praised Mr. Kwakye’s dedication to the media industry.
Ken Agyapong Jr., CEO of Kencity Media, expressed that Kwakye’s absence would be deeply felt, but he expressed confidence in the remaining staff to carry on.
Martin Kwakye, also known as Wofa KK, was a respected journalist and the host of the popular political program, Boiling Point, on Oman FM. He tragically collapsed during production on Wednesday, February 14, and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Both the Managing Director of Citi FM/Citi TV and the General Manager signed a book of condolence to honor Kwakye’s memory.
