Vision FC head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang is set to leave the club following the expiration of his contract, bringing an end to a successful spell with the newly established Ghana Premier League side.
Agyemang has been with the “Ewuo Keke” outfit for the past two seasons and played a crucial role in the club’s rise through the ranks of Ghanaian football.
The enterprising gaffer took over after Vision FC had secured promotion and subsequently helped the club establish itself as a competitive force in the Ghana Premier League, ensuring their top-flight status during a challenging campaign.
Under his leadership, Vision FC finished 11th in the just-ended league season with 47 points, comfortably avoiding relegation and cementing their place among Ghana’s elite clubs.
His departure will mark the end of an important chapter for the club, with Vision FC now expected to begin the search for a new head coach ahead of the upcoming season.
Nana Agyemang, who is the assistant coach of the Ghana Black Starlets, leaves having laid a solid foundation for the club’s future, transforming Vision FC from a newly promoted side into a team capable of holding its own in the Ghana Premier League.
