Compassion International Ghana (CIGH), a non-governmental organisation focused on child and youth development, has celebrated 250 graduates at its Alumni Graduation ceremony held at Mount Zion Methodist Church, Sakumono.

The event brought together graduates, sponsors, church partners, community leaders, and supporters to recognise young people whose lives have been impacted through years of holistic support and mentorship. The special guest of honour was the Paramount Chief of the Nungua Traditional Council, King Prof. Odaifio Welentsi III, who also serves as President of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs.

In his remarks, King Prof. Odaifio Welentsi III commended Compassion International Ghana for its dedication to nurturing young people and creating opportunities for children and youth to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. He also encouraged the graduates to use their skills and experiences to make meaningful contributions to society. Each graduate was presented with a certificate in recognition of their achievement.

Established in 2005, CIGH operates as part of Compassion International, a global Christ-centred organisation with a presence in 29 countries. Through partnerships with more than 450 Frontline Church Partners across 13 regions of Ghana, Compassion International Ghana currently supports over 100,000 registered children and youth. The organisation continues to expand its impact with a goal of reaching 150,000 children and youth in vulnerable communities by 2030.
