
Daniel Kofi Kyereh is looking forward to getting started at VfL Osnabrck after completing his move to the German second-tier club.The Ghana international has joined Osnabrck on a free transfer and is preparing to resume his career after a prolonged injury lay-off that disrupted his spell at Bundesliga side SC Freiburg.Kyereh has already regained competitive minutes with Freiburg II and will now work towards full integration into Osnabrcks first-team setup.His move also brings him back together with Timo Schultz, the coach who worked with him at FC St. Pauli during the most successful period of his German career.Kyereh made a strong impression under Schultz, scoring 21 goals and providing 20 assists in 62 2. Bundesliga appearances before earning a move to Freiburg in 2022.The reunion has added to Kyerehs excitement about beginning his latest challenge.I know Timo from our successful time together at FC St. Pauli and know how he wants to play football. Now Im looking forward to the team, the Bremer Brcke and gradually working my way back to my best level.Osnabrck are confident Kyereh can soon become an important member of the squad, although the club intends to carefully manage his workload as he completes his recovery.The attacker has earned 18 caps for Ghana and featured in all three group matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.He will wear the No. 7 jersey and hopes to make his return to regular first-team football as soon as his fitness allows.
