Davido confirms joint album and tour with Chris Brown in 2026

Nigerian superstar Davido , has spilled the beans on his long-rumoured collaboration with Chris Brown.

Addressing whispers of a hefty joint catalog on Apple Music podcast with E-bro, Davido confirmed they’ve recorded enough tracks for “two albums,” hinting at a major project in the works.

When asked why the music hasn’t dropped yet, Davido was optimistic, saying, “It’s gonna happen.”

He expressed admiration for Brown’s resurgence, citing his Grammy win last year and 20-year career milestone.

“I’m just happy for Chris,” he said. “He’s back in his bag, and he deserves everything.”

Davido also revealed he’s likely to join Brown at the Breezy Bowl, a celebratory event marking Brown’s two decades in the industry, set for MetLife Stadium.

“I’m probably gonna pop out,” he confirmed, prompting E-Bro to announce, “You heard it first on the E-Bro show, Davido will be at the Breezy Bowl!”

Looking ahead, Davido shared plans for a 2026 double-continent tour across Europe and Africa, tied to the release of their joint album.

“It’s locked,” he said, emphasising the brotherly bond he shares with Brown.

“We don’t talk to labels when we get stuff done. It’s happening.”
