5x Grammy-nominated global icon and “King of Afrobeats,” Davido, brings the heat with a new single and music video “Gimme Dat Ting” featuring Houston-born, Nigerian-raised singer NO11. The track arrives as Davido’s final single before the arrival of his sixth studio album ORIADÉ — releasing July 31.
“Gimme Dat Ting” threads together Afrobeats and Amapiano with an undeniable sense of momentum engineered for packed dance floors and festival crowds. Lyrically, Davido leans into the confidence that has long defined his catalog, delivering verses that celebrate ambition, success, and the rewards that come with them, while NO11 matches the track’s kinetic energy. Between the hypnotic hook and the playful bravado throughout, the record is all about living out loud and having fun while doing it — a theme brought to life in the single’s music video.
Under Maikell‘s direction, the accompanying music video kicks off with Davido and NO11 moving effortlessly between luxury and nightlife. From sleek cars and manicured golf greens to crowded clubs alive with synchronized movement, the visual mirrors the song’s Amapiano pulse, turning every scene into an extension of the rhythm with Davido and NO11 at the center of it all.
“Gimme Dat Ting” is about seeing your hard work pay off and not being afraid to enjoy the finer things in life,” says Davido. “Whether it’s fast cars, traveling the world, or being surrounded by good energy, it’s important to celebrate everything you’ve worked for and thank God for these blessings. We only get one life, so enjoy it.”
Davido’s latest record offers another glimpse into the energy fans can expect from ORIADÉ, following its lead single “I Know Who I Be” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_CEEJAY. “Gimme Dat Ting” is available now on all streaming platforms. For more information, follow Davido on Instagram at @Davido.
As the most followed Afrobeats artist on social media, with more than 30 million followers, Davido has spent the past 15 years helping transform Afrobeats from a regional movement into one of the world’s most influential genres. Earlier this year, he wrapped his 42-date 5IVE ALIVE TOUR — the largest African concert tour of 2025 — spanning 12 countries across four continents, and made his historic debut at Coachella. Recently, Davido was featured on the official 2026 FIFA World Cup album with the single “No Place Like Home,” alongside Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado. He also made a bold statement during his FIFA 2026 opening-night performance, using the global stage to draw attention to the kidnapping crisis in his home country, Nigeria. Fifteen years into his career, Davido continues to demonstrate his far-reaching impact, helping shape the global rise of Afrobeats while establishing himself as one of the defining artists of his generation.
