Chairman of the Committee, former Black Stars captain and Asante Kotoko legend, Samuel Opoku Nti, welcomed all the Committee members and the participating clubs, expressing optimism that the upcoming competition would be successful.

“I’m extremely excited that all the participating clubs are here. This shows readiness for the competition and I believe after today’s meeting, every club will intensify their preparations for the tournament,” he noted.

The competition features all the winners from the three Division One League zones, their runners-up, and the best third-placed sides, ensuring a high level of competition and excitement.

The meeting covered several critical issues including format and structure of the competition as well as finalizing the rules and guidelines that will govern the tournament.

The group draw as well as the fixtures for the tournament were also conducted to set the tone for an exciting competition.

Clubs were briefed on the deadline for submitting their squad lists and the strips they will use during the tournament. The deadline for these submissions is July 24, 2024.

With members of the Marketing Department of the FA present at the meeting, strategies for promoting the tournament and ensuring effective branding at the venues were also touched on.
