The much-anticipated Division One League (DOL) Super Cup is set to kick off on July 29, 2024, with fixtures and modalities for the tournament officially announced.
The tournament, which serves as a pre-season event for clubs advancing to the Premier League and those competing in the Division One League next season, promises exciting matches and competitive football.
The group stage matches will commence on the opening day with the following fixtures:
Group A:
– 10:00am: Young Apostles vs. Hohoe United
– 15:00GMT: New Edubiase United vs. Okwawu United
Group B:
– 10:00am: Vision FC vs. Techiman Liberty Youth
– 15:00GMT: Techiman Heroes vs. Basake Holy Stars
Each team will play three group stage matches. The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals.
The semi-final matches are structured as follows:
– Winner of Group A vs. Runner-up of Group B
– Winner of Group B vs. Runner-up of Group A
The winners of the semi-final matches will advance to the final, while the losers will compete for third place. The entire tournament will be held at the Baffour Soccer Academy facility in Nsoatre, ensuring a high-quality venue for all matches.
