Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional minister designate, has vowed to harness the power of social media to drive good governance in the Ashanti Region. 

Speaking during his vetting before parliament’s appointment committee on Monday, January 27, 2025, Dr. Amoakohene emphasized the significance of social media in the modern age, highlighting its role in disseminating information that promotes development and productivity.

“I will leverage on my influence on social media to promote good governance in the Ashanti region”; He stated.

As a seasoned politician, Dr. Amoakohene is well aware of the influence he wields on social media, and he intends to leverage on this influence to promote transparency and accountability in governance. This approach highlights Dr. Amoakohene’s dedication to involving young people and encouraging their active participation in the governance process.
