A heartwarming story by 3Sports about a 25-year-old orphan who established an academy to groom football talents has moved Ghanaian businessman, Dr Kofi Amoah to action.
Dr Amoah, who previously headed Ghana’s football during the Normalisation era, has pledged 10,000 Ghana cedis to support Gideon Danquah’s academy in Obuasi.
Here is my little contribution of
Ghs 10,000 to Mr Gideon Dankwa, the dreamer and helper to other young dreamersLet’s support the Dreamers and Doers in our communities and thrive
Gideon, pls DM your contact number…
God bless you, don’t give up🙏🏽 https://t.co/060YCtHTQX— CitizenKofi (@amoah_citizen) April 25, 2023
He also encouraged others to join him in supporting the young “dreamer” and “helper”. Although Danquah had dreams of becoming a professional footballer himself, he now focuses on helping others achieve their dreams through his MVP Academy.
The story of his selflessness and dedication has touched many who are willing to support Danquah, with Dr Amoah leading the way.
As part of my travels last week, I discovered an Academy in Obuasi that is managed by a 25-year-old orphan who couldn’t get his football dream.
These days, he inspires a bunch of kids in his community to get to where he couldn’t #3Sports pic.twitter.com/HW1FyimcmL
