Business mogul Ibrahim Mahama, cracked up individuals with rare humour during the commissioning of Dr. Osei Kwame Despite’s world class Automobile Museum on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in East Legon, Accra.
In a video sighted by Ghana Weekend, Mahama, while posing for a group photo with fellow business magnates Osei Kwame Despite and Dr. Ofori Sarpong, joked:
“You see real money, e no be coins, e no be talk oo, e no be escavator oo, e be real money. Ibi dem bi dis.”
The comment drew hearty laughter from persons present and offered a lighthearted glimpse into the usually reserved entrepreneur. Some social media users have speculated that the remark was a subtle shade.
The strictly by invitation event was graced by notable figures including the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Julius Debrah, Kennedy Agyapong, Cheddar (Nana Kwame Bediako), members of the East Legon Executive Club among others.
