The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) is considering the setting up of Regional and District Inter-Party Advisory Committees (IPACs) as part of an all-inclusive process ahead of the continuous voter registration.

The Commission is again proposing Thursday, February 16, 2023, for its continuous voter registration ahead of the District Assembly and Unit Committee Elections later this year.

The registration, if successfully carried out as scheduled, will be followed by an Exhibition of the Register between Tuesday, June 6, and Saturday, June 10, 2023.

All these will be in preparation for this year’s District Assemblies and Unit Committee elections, proposed to be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Per the proposed timetable from the EC, two meetings of IPAC are expected to be held before the suggested date is confirmed.
