Former Blackstars player, Edwin Gyimah stormed his Obuasi property to evict his mother and relatives attempting to take over his house.
A video from the scene that has surfaced on social media shows Edwin Gyimah arriving at the residence with officers from the Ghana Police Service to assert his ownership and remove family members occupying the property.
The situation stems from ongoing tensions within the family over control of the house.
Following the confrontation, Gyimah’s relatives, led by his elder sister Felicia Gyimah, made an emotional appeal for more time.

They requested a six-month extension to vacate the premises, explaining that they needed time to secure alternative accommodation, particularly for their ailing mother.
Felicia also reportedly pleaded for forgiveness, asking her brother to overlook any past remarks or misunderstandings.
However, Edwin Gyimah rejected the request, expressing concerns that granting additional time could lead to further damage to the property.
He maintained that he is willing to rent a separate place for their mother to ensure her comfort, but insisted on reclaiming his home for his immediate family.
Gyimah emphasised that he, his wife, and their two children are currently living at his father-in-law’s residence, a situation he described as unsustainable.
