The All People’s Congress (APC) is set to go into the December 7 elections as the party has out-doored Rev. Dr. Samuel Worlanyo Mensah to partner its founder and flagbearer Dr. Hassan Ayariga as his running mate.

The official unveiling of the running mate in Accra completes the party’s ticket in their bid to contest in upcoming December 7 general elections as the party prepares to launch its manifesto in September.

Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah was announced to the public and the party members in a charged atmosphere filled with excitement as it marks a significant milestone in the APC’s campaign strategy.

Dr. Hassan Ayariga at the event could not outdoor his running mate without condemning the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for destroying the country.

He chastised the two major political parties for mishandling Ghana’s economy each time they were given the opportunity to rule Ghana.

He wondered why NPP and NDC would have the ardor to canvas for votes after failing woefully to develop the country for the 32 years they have ruled.

Dr. Hassan Ayariga therefore tasked Ghanaians to rally behind APC to secure a mass victory to change the fortunes of Ghana.

He expressed confidence in Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah to come on board with innovative ideas to make APC the favorite and appealing party to the voting populace.

He described him as an astute minister of God who has people at heart and will work tirelessly to salvage the country from the economic doldrums when they win power.

Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah in his acceptance speech thanked the party leadership for entrusting to him a leadership role to serve the party and Ghana at large.

He vowed to work assiduously in helping the party to secure a mass victory in the general elections.

He charged the party supporters to intensify their door to door campaign to canvass votes to ensure victory in the forthcoming general elections.
