The Ghana Police Service is on the lookout for a group of individuals calling themselves NDC Youth of Obuasi, who are seen in a viral video, threatening violence during the upcoming 2024 General Elections.
They threatened the Electoral Commission and vowed to go bloody.
‘We are ready for anything,” the leader of the group said in the viral video.
But the police in a statement said “We wish to state that the behaviour of the group constitutes the offence of offensive conduct conducive to breaches of the peace contrary to section 207 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).”
A Police operation is currently ongoing to have them arrested to face justice.
