New Medeama SC signing Emmanuel Annor has set his sights on forming one of the Ghana Premier League’s most exciting attacking partnerships with Black Satellites captain Kelvin Nkrumah as the champions prepare for the 2026/27 season.
The 24-year-old winger recently completed a permanent move to the reigning Premier League champions from Nations FC, bolstering Medeama’s attacking options ahead of the defence of their league title and their campaign in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
Widely regarded as one of the most dangerous attacking players in the domestic league, Annor believes Medeama’s ambitious project and exciting young squad provide the perfect platform to take his game to the next level.
The former Nations FC winger is particularly looking forward to linking up with Ghana U-20 captain Kelvin Nkrumah, whom he believes can form a devastating attacking combination capable of exciting supporters across the country.
“I have admired what Medeama has built over the years, and I can’t wait to play alongside players like Kelvin Nkrumah. I believe together we can form one of the most exciting attacking partnerships in the league. The fans have seen Emmanuel Annor from a distance; now they will see an improved, more determined and more complete player wearing the Mauve and Yellow.”
Annor also made clear that he has arrived in Tarkwa with big ambitions, insisting his personal goals align perfectly with the club’s aspirations.
“The standard at Medeama is already very high, and my responsibility is to help raise it even further. We want to successfully defend the Ghana Premier League title, compete strongly in the CAF Champions League, and continue writing history together. These are the challenges that convinced me this was the right place to be.”
Annor’s arrival represents another significant statement of intent from Medeama as head coach Ibrahim Tanko continues to strengthen his squad for the challenges of domestic and continental football.
With Annor’s pace, creativity and eye for goal complementing the talent and promise of Kelvin Nkrumah, Medeama supporters will be hopeful that the pair can spearhead another successful campaign as the Mauve and Yellow chase more silverware at home and make their mark in Africa.
