England-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Brendan Wiredu, was on target for Plymouth on Tuesday night, helping the side to secure a hard-fought away draw against Bradford City in the English League One.The fit-again 26-year-old started the Round 40 fixture for his side and played 60 minutes before making way for Caleb Watts.During his stay on the pitch, Wiredu gave everything for his side and opened the scoring after just eight minutes into the first half after he was set up by Lorent Tolaj.Unfortunately, for Plymouth, the home team never surrendered and continued to fight until the end.The efforts of Bradford City paid off in the 72nd minute, with Will Swan equalising to force the match to end in a 1-1 stalemate.The result leaves Plymouth 8th in the English League One standings with 67 points. With two games to end the season, the team will need to pick up all six points to stand any chance of making it to the promotion playoffs.
