Ghana forward Ernest Nuamah has expressed his excitement after returning to the Black Stars setup following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.
The talented attacker, who was ruled out for almost a year after suffering a serious injury, said he is delighted to be back with the national team and eager to play a role at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking about his return, Nuamah described representing Ghana again as the fulfilment of a long-held dream.
“It feels good to be back in the Black Stars team. This has been my dream. I can’t wait to play at the World Cup,” he said.
The forward’s return comes as a major boost for the Black Stars ahead of the global tournament, with his pace, creativity and attacking quality expected to strengthen Ghana’s options in the final third.
Nuamah has been working his way back to full fitness since recovering from the injury and has now earned a recall to the national team.
His comeback is expected to excite Ghanaian football fans, who will be hoping he can quickly rediscover his best form on the biggest stage in world football.
