The Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor has disclosed that the Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North, OK Frimpong is still in police custody in Amsterdam.
Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor disclosed while he was speaking in an exclusive interview on Accra-based JoyNews, monitored by GH Page.
According to Hon. Rockson, “The lawyers have successfully filed for his bail today, and we are praying that they will be given a hearing within the week,” adding that “Every support that we can give from Parliament, we have given”.
Despite all the support that has been given out, Dafeamekpor claims “He is still in custody in Amsterdam”.
Meanwhile, he shared that “The Foreign Minister has coordinated with our ambassador to offer him every assistance and courtesy available so that he can competently defend himself”.
