Ghanaian striker Osman Ibrahim has been crowned the top scorer of the 2025/26 Niger Premier League after an outstanding campaign with AS Douanes Niamey.
The 27-year-old forward finished the season with 17 goals in 28 league matches, emerging as the division’s leading marksman despite facing injury setbacks during the campaign.
Ibrahim’s goals played a key role for AS Douanes Niamey, who ended the season in sixth place with 46 points.
The former Asante Kotoko striker showed remarkable resilience throughout the season, returning strongly from injury to secure the prestigious individual accolade.
His latest achievement adds to an impressive career that has seen him feature for several Ghanaian clubs, including Asante Kotoko, King Faisal and Liberty Professionals.
Winning the league’s top scorer award represents a significant milestone for Ibrahim, who will now be hoping to carry his goalscoring form into the new season and continue making his mark in Nigerien football.
